The full day, and the highlights
Most wedding tapes are two or three hours long and nobody sits through them twice. We deliver the complete unedited transfer for the archive, plus an optional highlights edit of ten to twenty minutes that people will actually watch.

Damaged wedding tapes
Wedding tapes are the ones most likely to have been played to death. Snapped tape, chewed sections and stuck reels are repaired by hand before transfer, and if nothing can be recovered there is nothing to pay.

Anniversary and surprise gifts
A good number of wedding transfers we do are a surprise for a silver or golden anniversary, arranged by the children rather than the couple. If that is you, tell us the date you need it by when you first get in touch and we will work to it.
We can supply the finished film on a USB stick, on DVD, or as a download link you can share with family abroad - useful when the guest list is scattered across the world.
Frequently asked questions
- Our wedding video is on an old VHS tape that has not been played for 30 years. Will it still work?
- Usually yes. Tapes from the 1980s and 1990s are transferred every week here. If the tape has stiffened, shed oxide or snapped we repair it by hand first, and if nothing can be recovered there is nothing to pay.
- Can you take the speeches off one tape and the ceremony off another?
- Yes. Several tapes can be compiled into one film in the right order, with titles between the sections. Tell us roughly what is on each tape when you send them.
- How much is a wedding transfer?
- Transfers start at £25 per tape. An edited highlights film starts at £175, quoted as a fixed price once we know how much footage there is.
