Like most who will google such a service, it is an act of faith.  I sent our most precious tapes/ discs going back 23+ years ... various machines over the ages, all failed, so no idea what was on. First challenge was registered post during a Christmas period pandemic.  Next day Royal Mail delivery did not arrive ... for 5 days, then Jason advised us it was OK days before Royal Mail! You have no idea the relief to learn. Next issue was some broken tapes. Some repaired. Have absolute trust your guys tried their best. We received live commentary on how the recovery/ recordings was going. Again immensely reassuring. Then the challenge was to get back to us during Christmas post period.  You advised would be sent next day.  It arrived 24 hours later. What to say.  I estimate 10 hours of recordings tracking our 3 kids early years ... Christmas nativities, birthdays etc Jason, the joy for all here is indescribable!

What a fantastic, trustworthy service! Just before Christmas, I came across around 20 video tapes of various types, going back over the last 15 years, recorded on several different devices, most of which we had never watched before. I was slightly nervous about sending so many precious memories away in the post but I need not have been. It was great to get them back neatly transferred onto DVDs, & a nice surprise to get them in a wallet with a sharpie pen to label them, which I've now done. Very quick service, despite it being over Christmas. Great to be able to pay by Paypal. Everything about the service happened exactly as outlined on the website

I found Copy My Tapes through Google, and what a find! After considering others who were FAR more expensive (for the same service) I checked out CMT testimonials, and decided so many people couldn't be wrong! I sent my very precious tapes of past family events to them, and had an email as soon as they were received, which put my mind at rest that they hadn't gone astray somewhere. I was kept informed of time frames throughout the process, and when I received my DVD's back yesterday, I wasn't disappointed! I now have all those precious memories safeguarded for all time at such a reasonable price and am currently looking out more tapes from the attic to send to them for the same process. I am very happy to recommend this company to anyone thinking of using a copying service of this nature.

Copy My Tapes provided an excellent service: I sent them a thirty-year old VHS tape, and they were able to convert it to DVD in a few days. The picture and sound quality were very good considering, and the price was good - well worth it to re-capture those memories.

A personal service delivered with such professionalism is hard to find these days. Many spend vast sums of money telling their customers and market that they do but, in reality, don't. This small but effective organisation hits the mark and I would have no hesitation in recommending them. Excellent service - Jason copied two tapes for me, fast-tracking them through their process in a couple of days as I needed them at short notice. My tapes and DVDs arrived in perfect condition via Royal Mail Special Delivery on time for when I needed them. I had an old VHS tape, protected by Macrovision, which had a special interest for me, and which had never been subsequently reproduced in DVD format. To have the tape transformed so brilliantly into DVD format was a very welcome service, and quite reasonable in price. The constant emails received regarding receipt of the tape, expected time the completed dvd would be despatched, etc, was evidence of a first class service. I have now arranged for a second, treasured, tape to be transferred to DVD. Improvements = I found the "advert" for the service to be fully informative. I had no unanswered questions. Any subsequent question was quickly and fully answered. I was kept up to date with progress in a very professional way, equally up to Amazon standard, whom I regard as one of the best retail firms.' I found Copymytapes through Google and was immediately impressed with the speed of service and cost. My wedding tapes were transferred onto DVD so I could relive the special day, and they kept it touch throughout the process with good communications.

I had 15 Video8 tapes, which were of my family growing up in Hong Kong and our many holidays around Asia. These were very precious to us and after 10 years in the humidity of Hong Kong,some of them were in quite a bad state. One of them had snapped and seemed to have some type of mould on the tape. It was with some trepidation that I sent these tapes off to Copy My Tapes to be copied onto DVD's. The service from Copy My Tapes was great and they called me on 3 separate occasions to tell me that they were trying various manual methods to save the broken and mouldy tape, as due to it's poor condition, it just kept snapping. Finally we agreed that they should give up on that tape, but we really appreciated their great time and effort in trying to salvage it. The remaining DVD copies were great, and I have no hesitation in recommending Copy My Tapes to anyone. Great service and very nice people!!

Thanks for such an efficient service. I was anxious about posting off my family vidoes and never seeing them again. You not only dealt with my tapes efficiently but also acknowledged receipt by email as soon as they arrived and then posted back the new DVD's and old VHS tapes back separately for security. Price was competitive and I would certainly recommend this firm.

Fantastic service. Two weeks before Christmas I never thought my tapes could e received, processed and returned in time to give as gifts, but they were! Great price and excellent service. Would definitely recommend.

Very good transfers

I chose copy my tapes for two reasons, one they used a "by tape" price not an hourly rate, and two there was a recognisable address in the UK to send the tapes to. I also liked the regular emails telling me what at stage my order was.
